Indulge With Me For A Sec, Here…
You saw the name of this tile and said “huh, that sounds pretty interesting…” right?
Let me to give you some context.
In the thick of Zoom University (brought to you by COVID), I was losing my mind from a bedroom in Eugene, OR, a mere 0.9 miles from the campus that I wish I could’ve passionately frolicked around.
That was ass.
But what WASN’T ass was taking a class where you made two entire campaigns for two different brands, as well as being introduced to the glorious Fab Forty.
The Fab Forty was an assignment where we had to do one thing for forty days straight.
Not to be a hater, but everyone did the exact same things which were both really boring and really predictable.
It was all 40 graphic designs, 40 journal entries, 40 days of going on a walk, 40 reasons for me to fall asleep at my desk watching people present this stuff.
So what I wasn’t gonna do was be another boring ass presentation.
Given that this project took place in April of 2021 and I turned 21 two months prior and college students are SUPPOSED to drink often, I decided to go all out and make something that was not only unique from the rest, but was entertaining to see too.
40 drinks using Bacardi Superior blanco as the only liquor, and what seemed like endless combinations of different drinks and flavors.
But sitting there on zoom and saying “this one was good because blah blah blah…” Wtf? No.
But there is a universal language that everyone can understand (to an extent), and that’s memes.
A universal activity partnered with a universal language sounds like a good idea to me… What do you think?
I got an A on the project, BTW…
